Funding/Payment
Orthotic Therapy
Private
Full payment will be required at the time of service unless prior arrangement has been made. For your convenience we accept Mastercard, Visa, and EFTPOS. If you have any queries regarding payment please feel free to call reception.
Third Party Funding
Third party funding is available if you are covered by CEAP, ICWA, DVA or Work Care.
- ICWA (Insurance Commission of WA) / Work care. You will need to supply OPS with your claim number and your employee’s details. A clinician from OPS will then liaise with them regarding your funding
- CAEP / Therapy Focus / Disability Services. You will require prior approval from one of these organisations before assessment or treatment may begin. A clinician will then liaise with these organisations on your behalf.
- DVA (Department of Veteran’s Affairs). You will need a referral from your GP. A clinician at OPS will then liaise on your behalf with DVA regarding your funding.
Health Insurance Funds
- We have provider status for numerous health funds including Medibank Private, HBF, HBA, BUPA. Clients will need to contact their individual funds to ascertain their level of cover.
Prosthetic Therapy
Private
- Full payment will be required at the time of service unless a prior arrangement has been made. For your convenience we accept master card, visa and EFTPOS. If you have any queries regarding payment please feel free to call reception.
- If you have been involved in an accident where an insurance claim has been settled, you will be responsible for funding your prosthetic therapy.
Public Funding
- Eligibility to the West Australian Artificial Limbs Service for Amputees (WALSA) the public prosthetic funding body–is available where there has been no compensation for prosthetic service through third party funding and the client holds a current Medicare card. Currently, OPS does not provide services to WALSA funded clients.
